The Story
By 2016, Mirrorstone had two successful businesses under its belt in WLED Lighting and Surya Heating, but this had led to a new challenge. People are much less likely to buy heaters and lights in the height of summer! The hunt was on again for a new product that would let us tap into a different seasonal market.
E-Bikes are not a new technology, but they’ve gone from a niche product into a force to be reckoned with over the last decade. An e-bike is an ideal commuter vehicle, saving the customer money on petrol and maintenance, while still letting them reach their destination in comfort.
Plugin Bikes aims at a more relaxed market. Our bikes put an emphasis on aesthetics, as they utilise beautiful vintage frames and colours without compromising on the efficiency. They’re simple to use and put together, and are intended as a hassle-free gateway into the e-bike world. You don’t need to be an expert cyclist or a hardcore e-bike fan to understand our bikes!
