It all started with a fish tank.
We’re not here to reinvent the wheel. We’re here to bring amazing eco-friendly technology to our customers at accessible prices.
Sunny had seen incredible tank designs but wasn’t certain where to find waterproof lighting. This eventually led to he and his brother, Amit, discovering LED strip lights, gorgeous tape lights that were capable of being completely submerged underwater.
LEDs were a relatively new technology in the UK at the time, and so Amit and Sunny jumped at the chance to kickstart an all-new business, one that put this developing, environmentally friendly technology at the forefront.
Wholesale LED Lights was one of the first UK businesses to see the potential in LEDs. What started with offering a range of retrofit LED bulbs quickly evolved, and now WLED offers an incredible variety of products for both domestic and commercial properties. This quickly turned into taking on clients as diverse as the BBC and Alton Towers.
From indoor light fittings, to outdoor security lights, to large panel lights to modern downlights, we now stock over 1000 products, all housed in our warehouse in Leicester.
We’ve also stayed at the forefront with the LED Strip Tape that started it all! With easy to install self-adhesive ribbons, to innovative Zigzag Tape that allows for all manner of creative applications, we’ve kept bringing in all new ways to make your space your own.
